The paper considers the features of transient phenomena during output signal generation in a position-sensitive detector (PSD) with moving current-voltage (I-V) characteristic. dependence linear and exponential parts movement trajectory I-V characteristic on magnitude voltage distributed over resistive divider is studied. It shown that optimizing operating modes investigated PSDs order to obtain maximum operation speed maintain specified resolution sensor requires maintaining balance between minimum applied slope aperture region.
